Why is it a good idea to invest in a fire pit cover?

If you are considering or have already invested in a fire pit then you maybe wondering if a fire pit cover is needed?

Clay, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Cast Iron, Gas, Bioethanol are all types of fire pits that would benefit from a fire pit cover.

As fire pits are outdoors a good proportion of the time they are subject to the outdoor elements. Providing a reliable fire pit cover will help protect it against all weathers in the UK. Fire pits can range in size but if you have the indoor space in perhaps a storage shed or garage then storing them inside is a good idea.

It is not just the weather that the fire pit cover protects your fire pit from. Leaves can be troublesome in autumn and winter. If leaves get inside the fire pit it means more cleaning time is needed to remove all the leaves and dirt that they carry. Fire pits can provide a cosy home for all types of insects such as wasps and other creepy crawlies and even rodents.

Safety First:  Always make sure that the heat from the fire pit has cooled before using the lid.

We would always advise a fire pit cover for your new fire pit just to give that added protection when its needed.
